The St. Joseph County Literacy Council held it's annual Home and Garden Expo book sale in Centreville.  We sold boxes of books that had been donated to help our cause.  It was a great day weatherwise and a great turnout.  Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Lions Club of Sturgis, Michigan makes a donation to the Literacy Council.

The St. Joseph County Literacy Council has installed a "Little Free Library" at the First Presbyterian Church.  The books are free for the public to use and return or replace with other books.

The St. Jospeh County Literacy Council reaches out to prospective adult students and the general community by participating at various community events. At the St. Joseph County Home Expo in 2014, the Literacy Council held a used book sale to help foster reading in our community.  Here, Executive Board Secretary Kim Larsh prepares books for sale.
