Community Action End of Year Event

The Community Action group held its End of Year Event at the Meyers Broadway Park near Three Rivers.  The St. Joseph County Literacy Council was one of numerous community/service organization present.  Among the activities for children were games, photos on horseback, playground equipment and other options.  Free food was supplied for all who came.  Many people stopped by our booth and got information about our services.  Several people volunteered to become new tutors and we are delighted and grateful to have them join us.  The event was a great success and many people from around the county made the trip to attend.
